Join us on April 18 for an incredible night of poetry!

This time, Artist Take and Dismoc Le Ma are helping facilitate a special poetry night as part of Forging Black Joy—a new platform initiative dedicated to reestablishing North County St. Louis as a thriving arts district and creating opportunities for local emerging artists. The initiative was founded by Amina Taylor and Naysa Adams.
The evening will be hosted by Maya McGrocery, an LMNT Poetry alumni who was also selected in October 2025 for Artist Take: The Spotlight Verse.
Founder Amina Taylor is also an Artist Take alumni, previously participating as a vendor in The Funk Before Christmas Art Show and The Popcorn Easel Art Show in August 2025.
