ST. LOUIS, MO — Artist Take is proud to announce the return of The Popcorn Easel Art Show on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the newly expanded The Kre8ive Shop Studio. Curated by international artist Dismoc Le Ma, this year's event promises to be the largest and most immersive edition yet, featuring nearly three times the space and four times the experience.

More than a traditional art exhibition, The Popcorn Easel Art Show blends visual art, live performances, poetry, vendors, networking opportunities, and complimentary popcorn into a dynamic celebration of creativity and community. Designed to bring people together through artistic expression, the event creates an environment where artists and attendees can connect, engage, and be inspired.

"This event has always been about creating memorable experiences around art," says curator Dismoc Le Ma. "We wanted to build something that feels welcoming, interactive, and exciting for both artists and guests. With the new studio space, we're able to offer more opportunities for engagement while maintaining the intimate atmosphere that makes the event special."

This year's exhibition will feature 20 selected artists from a variety of artistic backgrounds and disciplines. Attendees can expect an evening filled with original artwork, conversations with creators, live entertainment, and unique shopping opportunities through a curated group of local vendors.

The event experience will unfold in two parts. The evening begins with a Pre-Show Mixer, offering artists, collectors, supporters, and community members an opportunity to network and explore the exhibition in a more intimate setting. The Main Event follows, transforming the space into a vibrant creative hub filled with performances, poetry, vendors, audience interaction, and award presentations.

Artists participating in the exhibition will have the opportunity to compete for several recognitions, including the Best of Show Award, which includes a $100 cash prize, a featured article on ArtistTake.com, a complimentary submission to a future Artist Take exhibition, a certificate of achievement, and an Artist Take merchandise bag. Additional awards such as Editor's Pick and surprise recognitions will also be presented throughout the evening.

Selected artists may also be invited to participate in Artist Take's Take One Interview Series, an in-person interview opportunity designed to highlight artists, their work, and their creative journeys through video content and storytelling.

In addition to showcasing visual art, The Popcorn Easel Art Show continues its mission of supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs by providing vendor opportunities throughout the event. Vendors and sponsors will have the chance to connect directly with attendees while increasing their visibility within the St. Louis creative community.

Organized by the nonprofit Artist Take, the event reflects the organization's ongoing commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for artists while building stronger connections between creatives and the communities they serve.

Applications for artists and vendors open June 21, 2026.

With limited exhibition and vendor spaces available, early registration is encouraged.
